I thought that when I left Central for the summer there would be little to zero opportunity for me to pick up garbage around the community, but much to my surprise when I arrived in Cooper Landing for the summer a chance to clean up the road sides fell right at my feet! My manager, boss and I go for a walk every morning before we begin our days activities and the last time we went on our walk we brought along a large trash bag and picked up every piece of garbage we saw! I couldn’t believe the amount of trash that had gathered along the side of the roads in such a little town. I’m glad we took the time to clean up the roads a little, it may not have made a huge impact, but it certainly look better to me!
