The other day I literally went to Wal-Mart and other stores in the Mount Pleasant area an excess of three times! This seemed ridiculous to me and what was even more ridiculous is the thought that instead of using the same bag every time, I was going to continue to utilize the horrendous plastic bags at the registers. These bags, while recyclable, are not good for our earth one bit! To end the madness of constantly using plastic bags on trips to Wal-Mart, I purchased a large re-usable shopping bag! This bag has come in handy, not only when I go to the store, but just for carrying stuff around in general. For instance just yesterday I used it to carry my chalk to the art building on campus! What a great way to help support the care of our earth and conveniently carry all my belongings!
